One event we’re especially looking forward to is the Grill Showdown, hosted by Ted Reader, Godfather of the Grill! At this fun event ( taking place on the Weber Grilling Stage) you will see six Ontario chefs — Emily Richards, Sam Glass, Joe Friday, Christian Pritchard, Keith Hoare, and Trevor Littlejohn–  show off their culinary skills in on-the-fly meal planning, food prep, grilling, and presentation.

Armed with only their knife roll, each chef will be given a mystery box of 10 ingredients, access to a pantry and a Weber gas grill; they will have 60 minutes to create a minimum of 3 courses and use all the mystery ingredients. Their creations will be judged on artistic impression plate presentation, grilling style, and the all mighty taste. This is a must-see for  food lovers, grilling enthusiasts or anyone looking for inspiration this grilling season.

Vegetables … I only grill veggies. No food with a face on my grill!

Good old traditional steak. Nice and thick, with a side of corn on the cob in the summer.
